Adjustable grip for close quarters Black & Decker is not the best name in power tools, but in my experience they have some solid offerings. In fact, I have a Black & Decker cordless power drill that has lasted me over 10 years.

It was mainly used for general “around the house” duty, but I also put my tools through some rough jobs. Today we will look at one of the simplest power tools, a B&D cordless screwdriver. Forward, Reverse and a Spindle Lock I have used this for a bit over 6 months and so far I really like it. I keep it in a drawer in the kitchen so it is easy to just grab and fix something up. It feels solid, but is not too heavy.
It holds a decent charge for a few weeks. Luxor 1 crack free download. It seems to have adequate torque for light and medium duty jobs and so far I have used it to fix a cabinet, take apart a computer, do some drilling, and put together a desk.
I never use the spindle lock for manual mode, in fact I always forget it is even an option to utilize! Upon testing it though, it seems to work as advertised. I always have a phillips and a slotted screwdriver close at hand, and they are far better for quick jobs or to do manual work. The B & K is too thick for extended manual use. Helpful Hint: Ni-cad batteries are pretty durable, but they will slowly lose charge if stored for long periods of time.
If you have not used your screwdriver for about 4 weeks you should fully recharge it. Final Verdict I have used it on a variety of jobs and so far it has not let me down. Overall I would say it is a pretty convenient and well made tool. You must understand this is more of a “convenience” tool designed for tightening screws in small places and light to medium duty jobs.
It is far lighter and easier to carry around than a cordless drill and this baby can be had for about $20-$30, which is a reasonable price. Note: Though still readily available, this screwdriver has been updated with the which adds a bit more torque and a small LED light. Though it only features two hand positions, not three like the 9078.
Read these steps completely before beginning. I removed the 2-piece orange cover by removing 4 screws (3 long, 1 short) and the switch lever before beginning Step 1 - this may not be necessary. If after following Step 1 you cannot cannot remove the handle pivot button assembly or pull the handle/battery compartment away from the screwdriver body, remove the orange cover and note orientation of the switch lever on removal. Set these parts aside. Step 1 - Remove 1 screw w/washer from the handle pivot button assembly.
Note alignment of splines on both halves of the assembly as they're removed. Remove the spring inside the pivot assembly barrel. Set these parts aside.
