My son bought me this when my $800.00 hp ultra book hinge broke after 18 months of use. So now i have it hooked up to the tv. I am a 62 year old woman who likes to sit in my big cushiony recliner couch & surf the web & hang out on fb. & i like to color while sitting here all comfy. My problem with this keyboard, & they all are made like this, is that there is no ‘margin’ around most of it to grab onto when it invariably slides off my lap or the couch.

It is extremely annoying to try to contort around to not press keys as i am not computer literate, so when i press something & end up somewhere-i don’t know what i hit or how to get back. Please, please logitech & every other manufacturer, please design these to 1) not slide so easily, 2) have a sufficient area all around the edges to grasp. Quite revealing 1.8e serial killer. I don’t care if hp does or not, i will never buy another of their products because i read review after review on a blog about their refusal to make repairs, & they continue to use the same stiff brittle hinges.

And they don’t allow you to review their products on their pages after a few months, so you’re totally being misled & not allowed to warn others. I think an inch would be sufficient.

If the USB is not 2.0 (1.0, 1.5, 3.0, 2.0/3.0 switched) the unifying device is seen by the kernel (lsusb reports its there), but the kernel does not set up the devices correctly for the keyboard to be used. The problem is that the base kernel 3.10.x had a bug in it that was fixed in later kernels. (3.15.5 ml works with any of the usb). A fix in upstream will need to be made so it works there.
