Well I found Freelancer for a fair price so I picked it up. Went looking in the community and found a nice little mod. The Next Generation 1.6 mod includes ships from Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Babylon 5, Star Trek, and the Freespace series. The crew added some new skins too. Trent and Juni (and others) sport new duds.

I used an earlier version once. Its extremely neat, really enhances the fighting part of the game (and I love the jedi fighter ) The bad thing is that you can get ALOT more money than in regular Freelancer. She goes 'Take some mission, upgrade your weapons a bit'. I have experimental alien weapons capable of destroying any ship in a few hits, and a heavy fighter with the level requirement far behind me. It removes the timeframe of the missions, which is kind of bad. Dont know if this version is the same though. I cant remember which version I tried even.
