Sage Odbc Driver Download

I have connected via ODBC to sage accounts 50 on an Xamp server on a windows machine reasonably easily by setting up the ODBC data source to point towards the Sage Accounts Data directory using its UNC path and giving this ODBC source a name. This could then be connected within PHP with below: $rConn = odbc_connect('TestSage', 'harri', 'password'); I however now want to move this onto my LAMP based web server however am wondering how to configure ODBC on a Linux machine. I have followed this: I am now at the telnet to the server step on it's ip however feel this is where i have to fork from the guide as this is not a SQL database. Am thinking this is more for SQL based ODBC where as this is just a flat file system and am wondering if/how to adapt this to work with connecting to a UNC path? Feel i may need a ODBC driver for Sage within Linux but so far can only see something called CDATA Sage ODBC driver but it is $500 a year. If this necessary?
