I upgraded from xp to win 7 starter, and I formatted my HDD. When I tried to connect to wifi I couldnt because I didnt have the driver. Hi welcome to the forum before the driver can be installed windows has to see the hardware. In device manager is the wifi adapter listed? Could be under other devices. Could you post a screen shot of device manager with the network group expanded and other devices if their is anything listed their. Can you post the hardware id for the device? What happens when you try installing the driver do you get an error message?

No, the wifi adapter is not listed, Screen shot is below. I checked every tab under device manager and its not in there.
