Official IRC Channel - #reddit-sysadmin on Official Discord - • •. I apologise if this is in the wrong subreddit. This is driving me mental, as to why I can't get this silent install of Java to work. The 64bit version of Java installs without a hitch. If I run the installer manually, the program installs just fine. Installing through App Deploy Toolkit 3.6.5 using SCCM, it fails every time. I've even tried setting it to run in a batch file through SCCM.

What I do is download the Java.exe and double click it to launch the install screen on my workstation. Doing this will create an.msi file in the%temp% directory. I copy that.msi to the primary site server and create a Java package that way. We then deploy a Java config files via group policy that points the computers to files in the sysvol folder on our domain controllers.

Roland cakewalk instrument definitions. Doing that allows us to lockdown Java and set websites to be white listed without going in and editing the msi using orca or another msi editor.
